Best Time to Visit Agra
The best time to visit Agra is between October to March (According to me the love season is between autumn and winter as I don’t believe in Valentine). As there is cold in the afternoon also, so during this time you can explore this city with ease. You can visit the Taj Mahal for the whole week except On Fridays. So, do try shopping or visiting Dolphin Waterpark on Friday in Agra.
How to Reach Agra
By Air: Kheria Airport is the best way as it is only 13km far from Agra City. But this airport is connected only to Air India flights from New Delhi. If you live in Delhi take flight from itself and if belong to different cities reach Delhi first and then take the flight from Delhi. From Kheria airport you can reach Agra by Taxi within 15 to 20 minutes depending upon the traffic.
By Bus: AGRA has two bus terminals named Idgah Bus Stand and ISBT Bus Stand. And on days there are lots of buses from different cities (Delhi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Gwalior and many more). Idgah Bus Stand is located at the center of Agra City and is 10 minutes away from Taj Mahal. ISBT Bus Stand is 15 20 minutes away from Taj Mahal. If you planning to visit Agra during summer then Bus is not that great option.
By Train: Agra is well connected to different cities and different States through railways. Agra Cantt Station is the main Railway Station in Agra, Taj Mahal, and Agra Fort are not that far from Agra Cantt Station. Apart from Agra Cantt Station, there are 4 more Stations in Agra: Agra Fort Railway Station, Raja ki Mandi, Agra City, and Idgah Railway Station. You can take a Taxi, Auto anything to reach your Destination.
By Car: Yes, this one is my favorite. By Car, you can explore more things in Agra. Travel through Car if you are a Food Blogger or Travel Blogger. The Roads which connect Agra to Delhi, Jaipur, etc are well constructed.

Taj Mahal

It is among the most famous place to visit in Agra. Taj Mahal is the Beauty of Agra. Talking about the construction of that point: The symbol of love is an ivory-white marble mausoleum (from Makrana in Rajasthan) on the right of river Yamuna as we all know Shah Jahan constructed this, one of the seven wonders of the world.
Taj Mahal has three gates: East, West, and South Gates. When You enter inside Taj Mahal it’s worth experiencing the place. Talking about the view of the Taj Mahal at night: You can view the Taj Mahal at night only five days a month including full moon nights and two nights before and after the full moon. Only 400 people are allowed at that time. About the timings of other days except for Friday the timings are: Open 30minutes before sunrise and closes 30minutes after sunset.

Agra Fort

Agra fort is built for Akbar by Mughal Architectural styles. It is located on the right bank of the river Yamuna and is made entirely of red Sandston. This fort is also called as Red fort, was designed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983.
This place was built as a private palace for Akbar’s son Jahangir. And it is considered as a Historical Place of Agra with Beautiful design and as the symbol of Mughal art. Regarding the Entry fees for Indians, it is INR 40, for Foreigners the price is INR 550, for children below 15years it’s free. You can reach the Taj Mahal from Red fort within 5 10minutes by walking.

Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur Sikri is a little town in the Agra district which is built by Akbar during the second half of the 16th century. It is also called The City of Victory was the capital of the Mughal Empire for almost 10years. This City of Victory is a Beautiful high-quality construction. Yes, the city of love also has a beautiful waterpark. And it was constructed in the year 2002. As Agra is the fourth largest city of Uttar Pradesh the cost and the fabric of the dresses are just “WOW”. I will suggest you shop from Kinari Bazaar it is one of the largest wholesale markets in Agra. And not only dress but you can also have a look at marble, glassware, handicrafts. And don’t forget this Kinari Bazaar is closed on Tuesday.

Mumtaz died while giving birth to their 14th child and Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal for his love. I agree the Taj Mahal is among the best places to visit in Agra but do try to watch Agra fort’s night show. You will miss something if you didn’t try this one.
You can also go for a walk at night, talk to the local’s people. Believe me, they all are so so so so soft-hearted.
How to Spend a Day in Agra

And if you are visiting Agra for a single day Let’s, check, which places you should visit and for how much time. Get ready by 8 in the morning. Firstly, visit the Taj Mahal for almost 1 or 2hours. Taking pictures, making reels takes time I know that.
Now it’s time for breakfast Let’s go for tasting the Street food of Agra. Now after finishing your breakfast, you have two choices the first one is to enjoy in Waterpark and the second one is to explore Agra Fort and the town near Agra. If you want to know my pick, I will choose the second one. Explore things because mostly Every city has Waterparks. It’s Agra, it’s a historical place make memories with it. You can make memories with the waterpark anytime.
